Montgenèvre is one of the oldest French ski resorts. This village resort offers the only ski area Montgenèvre 95 km of ski slopes.
Montgenèvre is the last village before the border with Italy. It is thanks to this proximity that the ski area is shared with its Italian neighbor, the resort village of Claviere. Depending on the package you buy you can reach the great Italian resorts such as Sestriere and Pragelato. This large area between France and Italy is the Via Lattea (Milky Voice).
Between old center and new building, the aesthetics of the station remains on a human scale, and charm is preserved. The surrounding mountains are beautiful, with its pine forests, chapels on the heights.
From a gastronomic point of view, expect to eat Italian specialties. It must not deprive itself given the proximity of Italy.
If you go by car to Montgenèvre and you must go through the Frejus tunnel, there is a special pass with great rates.
